Hey friends, YOU’RE AWESOME!
I had an amazing birthday, by the way. So many of you surrounded me and made me feel special. Honestly, I know I was glowing.
I had a chorus of dancing (drunk) unicorns, a VISTA lesson, a beautiful new hair-do and a bat barrett to boot, breakfast delivered, mimosas ready and waiting, a chauffeur, a thousand “It’s Brandi’s Birthday!!!!”s, free beer and goat visiting privileges, smiling, welcoming faces everywhere, Japanese hilarity, The GZA, The Sonics (including first class admission and seating), free pizza delivered on the down-low, comped drinks, kissess, hugs, kisses, hugs, a million sweet telephone calls and text messages, a ride home in the laps of many ticklers, dance party U.S.A. then back to normal on Saturday where everyone makes fun of me and no exceptions are made for me. Yay! Well, that’s not entirely true…Lorena made lots of belated birthday time for me: enchiladas and micheladas, dress up (wow, Val’s costume closet…just wow) and internet hilarity (“shake it like a polaroid picture”).
I love you people more than you could ever know. I honestly feel LUCKY.
